Butea Superba (Red KWAO KRUA)

Abundant in the deciduous forests of

crawling vine that wraps itself around
large trees. The plant is used as a

Indigenous to Indonesia and Malaysia,
this small, slender evergreen tree grows
up to 15 meters tall, with spirally

Ginseng and Longjack. A decoction of
the roots, root bark, or bark is consumed
by mouth to treat numerous conditions,
including diarrhea, fever, glandular swell-
ling, bleeding, dropsy, persistent cough,
hypertension, relief of pain in the bones, and tertian malaria. The bark also has been used topically to treat wounds, ulcers, syphilitic sores, and headache. The plant is primarily known in commerce for its
aphrodisiac properties hence the name, "Asian Viagra”.
Tongkat ali is believed to stimulate the production of endogenous testosterone and to reduce the levels of bound and metabolically inactive testosterone in the body.
